As 2020 c<\/span>a<\/span>me to a close, we can\u2019t say we\u2019ll miss it!\u00a0<\/span>Even though 2020 was an interesting year, to say the least,\u00a0<\/span>it\u00a0<\/span>l<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a0<\/span>incredible growth and<\/span>\u00a0development\u00a0<\/span>for<\/span>\u00a0#LatinaGeeks<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>In keeping with our mi<\/span>ssion to<\/span>\u00a0empower and inspire Latinas\u00a0<\/span>through<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>sharing\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0<\/span>resources and hosting events, we have\u00a0<\/span>expanded<\/span>\u00a0our<\/span>\u00a0board and\u00a0<\/span>volunteer\u00a0<\/span>team.\u00a0<\/span>With that said, w<\/span>e have an amazing\u00a0<\/span>2021\u00a0<\/span>year planned for our geeky community and would love to introduce you to the people making it happen!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Governing Board is a key part of the organization<\/span>;<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>m<\/span>embers<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the #LatinaGeeks organization has adequate resources to advance its mission.
